The Cultural Industries Fund is a public legal entity established under an administrative regulation of the Macao SAR, supervised by the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture. Its mission is to utilize its resources to support projects that develop the cultural industries of the Macao SAR, promoting moderate economic diversification. The principle for granting subsidies is primarily based on enterprise investment, supplemented by fund support.
Committee Member Chu Miu Lei has over 20 years of experience working in government. Since 2015, she has served as a member of the Administrative Committee of the Cultural Industries Fund and looks forward to discussing and sharing insights on the direction of cultural industry development.
The Macao Cultural and Creative Industries Comprehensive Service Centre (cCentre) is dedicated to becoming a central platform that supports local creative enterprises in establishing themselves in Macao and reaching international markets. It spares no effort in promoting the industrialization and corporatization of Macao's cultural products. Providing learning opportunities for local creative enterprises is a crucial part of business incubation. In June 2016, cCentre established its brand event series cTalk, inviting cross-disciplinary professionals to share their experiences. The goal is to inspire participants to find their own business models through the experiences of others.
