The "Creative Science: LEGO® Education Play Together" event aims to promote the integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education concept, encouraging children and teenagers to unleash their creativity, cultivate scientific thinking, and develop the ability to synthesize knowledge and solve problems.
Event Highlights
- Fun Zone: Features a "Little Brick Kingdom" play area and a large LEGO building wall for parents and children to enjoy the fun of building.
- Creative Exhibits: Showcases over 30 creative mechanical works and models, such as the "Fun 3D Zoetrope," designed and built by the museum.
- Interactive Classroom: The "LEGO® Education Interactive Classroom" offers various hands-on workshops for interested children and teenagers to sign up for on-site.
Workshop Details
- Learning Focus: Participants learn basic physics or engineering principles through building, assembling robots with LEGO bricks, and programming them to complete simple tasks.
- Goal: To enhance children's and teenagers' interest in learning diverse scientific knowledge.
- Workshop Fee: MOP 50 per session.
- Free Introductory Class: Participants who purchase the LEGO Education Learn to Learn set at the museum gift shop can attend one free LEGO Education introductory class.
Photo Contest
- Event: "Brick Photo Contest" on the "Macao Science Centre MSC" WeChat public account.
- Period: July 15 – August 15.
- Prize: The top ten participants with the highest votes will win rich prizes.
