Helping beloved children find companions is the theme of this event. Creative Garden at No. 10, Fantang has consistently supported Macau's young artistic groups by providing space for creation and exhibition, and regularly holds creative talks and interest classes for public participation. This year, a series of children's creative interest classes will be held. To coincide with International Children's Day, Creative Garden is organizing the 'Child Companion' Children's Creative Market on June 2nd, bringing together instructors from various interest classes to set up booths. This provides children with an opportunity to engage with artistic creation and find their lifelong 'companion'.
A child's growth requires companionship, but unfortunately, no companionship is eternal. Parents cannot protect their children 24/7, friends may drift apart for various reasons, and material things have an even shorter lifespan. So, who can always accompany your beloved child? Interest! The only thing that can accompany a person for a lifetime is their interest. Interest stems from 'liking,' which is magical—it can dissolve difficulties and help children learn to face challenges. Children under 12 are highly curious, but limited by their knowledge, they cannot discover their interests on their own. Therefore, parents should increase their children's opportunities to experience the outside world, gradually cultivating their interests. This is also the best gift parents can give their children—their lifelong companion.
