Overview
Independent Construction (Creating in Silence) is a program designed to foster the growth and professional contemplation of local dancers, supporting a new generation in exploring and researching their creative practices. This year, three young dancers—Leong Pou Seng, Leong Kuan Pou, and Lei Pou Ian—will undertake a one-month residency for creation and research. They will be guided by young choreographer Liu Pui Lon, a past participant of the program.
The residency theme is "Society and Environment" and "Life and Identity".
