About the Event
Independent Structure (獨立構造) embarks on a creative practice starting from "text and physicality." The project invites two outstanding dance artists, Liu Peilin and Gu Wenxin, along with an arts and culture observer/writer, Yin Zhiqing, for a residency of at least two months for creation and research.
The residency theme revolves around issues consistently explored in past projects, such as "society and environment" and "life and identity."
This year, Independent Structure will present two brand new works: Liu Peilin's KIWI and Gu Wenxin's L Movement.
