🟠 Co-Imagine, Co-Live Community Art Project - Annual Presentation: 'Tomorrow Seems Far Away' 🟠
The 'Co-Imagine, Co-Live' Community Art Project, co-organized by T Theatre and Macau Special Olympics, is dedicated to providing performing arts training for people with intellectual disabilities. Through the development of physical expression and theatrical creation, it aims to increase their opportunities to participate in and showcase art, thereby boosting the participants' confidence. The project hopes to continuously build an equal space for dialogue and creation between participants and the public, reducing societal discrimination and prejudice against people with intellectual or physical disabilities.

A group of them are always thinking about how tomorrow they can re-stage yesterday's performance. Yet, they have no control, because the person who decides whether they can perform is not them, but someone else—a person they search for everywhere but cannot find. So, every today is spent in anticipation of tomorrow's arrival. They try to summon this person's appearance through rituals. Slowly, that ritual becomes their daily routine, and this daily behavior has become part of the performance itself. This is a performance about the daily expectation of tomorrow. For tomorrow's show, they have prepared classic Cantonese opera, a sharing of a journey to space, and the dance steps of their lives, all in order to be ready to welcome his arrival at any moment.
