In a world that's a little broken, clowns are here to patch things up.
Ho ho ho! Why is there a Christmas atmosphere on a hot street? It turns out that a lonely clown, Ah Chris, has secretly built a magical corner full of love at a street corner—the Chris-mas Kingdom! However, a team of highly motivated clown cleaners suddenly arrives, determined to bring order to the city. In the eyes of clowns, no matter is trivial; everything deserves full commitment. An ordinary street corner dispute instantly turns into a raging storm. They bicker and fight, but through conflict comes understanding. In the end, an extraordinary Christmas power will create a miracle never seen before.
Homegrown Theatre is one of the few local art troupes dedicated to clown performance. They integrate the open, free, and inclusive performance style of clowns with serious life themes. The seemingly "nonsensical" jokes are, in essence, full of inspiration, allowing both children and adults to reflect and discuss after the laughter. For this performance, they have specially invited a key promoter of theatrical clowning in Hong Kong—the Free to Play Theatre—to collaborate. Talented actors from Macao and Hong Kong join hands, skillfully combining clowning with puppetry elements to present a performance full of laughter and care.
