Join Macau in celebrating World Tourism Day on September 27, 2015, with a series of exciting events and activities.
Lucky Tourist Souvenirs: Random tourists arriving in Macau on September 27 have a chance to receive a complimentary souvenir from the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO).
Annual Tray Race (September 27, approx. 3:00 PM): Watch local hotel and restaurant staff showcase their skills! Competitors, dressed in creative costumes, will race while balancing a bottle of beer on a tray from the Ruins of St. Paul's to Senado Square.
World Tourism Day Cup Dragon Boat Race (September 27): Organized by MGTO and the Macau Sport Development Board as part of the 2015 Macau Small Dragon Boat Mid-Autumn Festival Cup. Amateur teams from across Asia will compete for the trophy at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre.
Macau x LEGO® Exhibition (September 25 – December 28): Explore intricate LEGO® models of Macau's World Heritage sites, landmarks, and events. The exhibition is held at two locations:
Featured models include the Ruins of St. Paul's, Rua da Felicidade street scene, Macau Grand Prix circuit, and a map of Macau.
The exhibition also includes a photography zone showcasing works by local photographer António Leong (梁舜堯) featuring "Macau Landmarks x LEGO® Minifigures."
The Macau Science Centre venue will also display the latest LEGO® Speed Champions Series racing products.
