An interactive improvisational theatre production where the audience and actors co-create the story in real-time. The Choice series has a successful track record, with sold-out performances in 2015 and 2016.
Just like in real life, each person is the protagonist of their own unknown story. In Choice 3.0, each actor has a chapter where they are the main character, but there is no script—only a basic framework and the actors. During the live performance, characters requested by the audience will be woven into the narrative. Amid countless unknowns, the audience and actors will experience the story together, searching for and welcoming an unpredictable ending.
The Choice 3.0 workshop, jointly organized by the Macao Social Welfare Bureau and Theatre Farmers, was completed in September. The workshop taught performance techniques for interactive improvisational theatre and selected actors for the November performances. This production is produced and performed by Theatre Farmers.
