The two Firecrackers and Fireworks Zones, located at Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen near the Macau Tower reclamation area and at Estrada Almirante Marques Esparteiro near the shorefront in Taipa, will open from 12:00 noon on January 24. Enhanced epidemic prevention measures will be implemented, including temperature checks at the entrance and crowd control as necessary. Firecrackers and fireworks are essential elements of traditional Chinese festivals. Two designated Firecrackers and Fireworks Zones are set up on the Macao Peninsula and in Taipa for the public to enjoy the fun of setting off fireworks. The zones also feature multiple stalls where residents and visitors can purchase their favorite fireworks on the spot.
