Workshop Overview

This Children's Day workshop will teach children how to create a paper model of a rice plant. Participants will also learn about the characteristics of hybrid rice and the scientific achievements and contributions of Chinese scientist Yuan Longping, known as the 'Father of Hybrid Rice'.

• Location: Exhibition Hall 13, Macao Science Center Exhibition Centre
• Target Participants: Children aged 5–12 (each child must be accompanied by one adult parent/guardian)
• Capacity: 20 children per session
• Admission: Free (requires a valid Exhibition Centre ticket for entry)
• Participation Method: On-site participation. Please arrive at the activity location 15 minutes before the start for staff arrangements.
