Overview
"Chasing Green: Volunteer Journey" is a series of volunteer activities designed for Macau university students to engage in hands-on sustainability practices across the Greater Bay Area. Participants will gain valuable experience in environmental conservation and community service.

- Admission Notification: Results will be notified via email by October 6, 2019
- Certificate: Volunteers who complete the full program will receive a Volunteer Service Certificate (30 hours or more).
Program Schedule & Details
Activity 1: Volunteer Dawn Camp
- Date: October 12–13, 2019
- Time: 21:00 – 09:00 (next day)
- Location: Coloane
- Content: Night exploration of the Ka-Ho ecosystem and a dawn mountain clean-up at the easternmost coast.
- Volunteer Hours: 3 hours
Activity 2: Nansha Volunteer Tour
- Date: October 26–27, 2019
- Time: 08:00 – 18:00 (next day)
- Location: Nansha, Guangzhou
- Content: Travel to Nansha District for mangrove research and beach/river clean-up activities.
- Volunteer Hours: 12 hours
Activity 3: Green & Waste-Wise Volunteer
- Date: November 8–24, 2019
- Location: Macau (at the 2019 Macau Food Festival)
- Content: Serve as a waste reduction and food conservation volunteer. Duties include guiding waste sorting and recycling, assisting with recycling statistics, and promoting awareness at festival stalls.
- Time Slots (to be confirmed upon successful application):
- Monday to Thursday: Shift A (17:00–20:30), Shift B (20:00–23:00)
- Friday to Sunday: Shift A (15:00–18:30), Shift B (18:00–21:30), Shift C (21:00–24:00)
- Volunteer Hours: 15 hours or more
Pricing
- Standard Price: MOP 400 per person
- Group Discount: MOP 300 per person for groups of two (both must register separately and note each other's names on the form).
Important Notes
- The group discount applies to pairs. Please note your partner's name on the registration form.
- All fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
- Participants who are absent without reason twice will be suspended from the organizer's activities for six months.
- The organizer reserves the right to final interpretation and decisions regarding the event.
