Competition Rules
I. Objective
To encourage saving and wise use of money, and to promote and discover more art and design enthusiasts to participate in cultural and creative activities.
II. Theme: 'Little by Little'
- Conceptualize and create a three-dimensional work based on the theme, which must include a coin slot.
- Each participant may submit only one entry.
- There are no restrictions on the materials, colors, appearance, or overall dimensions of the work.
III. Eligibility
All full-time students attending schools in Macau are eligible to enter individually in either the Primary School Group or the Secondary School Group.
IV. Prizes
Primary School Group
- Champion: Trophy, certificate, MOP 1500 voucher, and philatelic items.
- 1st Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 1200 voucher, and philatelic items.
- 2nd Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 900 voucher, and philatelic items.
Secondary School Group
- Champion: Trophy, certificate, MOP 2000 voucher, and philatelic items.
- 1st Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 1600 voucher, and philatelic items.
- 2nd Runner-up: Trophy, certificate, MOP 1200 voucher, and philatelic items.
Best Work Award
- 3 winners from each group will receive a trophy, certificate, and a philatelic yearbook.
Guidance Teacher Award
- All participating students' guidance teachers will receive a souvenir (not duplicated for the same person).
V. Registration & Submission
- Submit the completed application form together with the work to the Communications Museum.
- Office Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Submission Deadline: Friday, July 31, 2015, 5:30 PM.
VI. Judging
Judges from the arts and cultural fields will be invited by the organizing institution. The judges' decision is final.
VII. Judging Criteria
- Creativity & Artistic Merit (50%): How well the work's form matches the theme's meaning.
- Functionality (25%): Application of production techniques, e.g., coin slot, switch, or other functional designs.
- Overall Quality (25%): The work's stability and level of refinement.
VIII. Awards Ceremony
Will be held on October 9, 2015.
IX. Declarations
- Personal data collected on the application form is used solely for this event and handled per the 'Postal Services Personal Data Collection Statement'.
- All entries will be exhibited at the Communications Museum. The organizer reserves the right to photograph, publish, and translate entry materials for exhibition or promotional purposes without seeking the participant's consent or providing compensation.
- Submitted works will not be returned. Macao Post holds the copyright and usage rights to winning entries.
- If a winning entry is confirmed as plagiarized, all awarded prizes will be reclaimed.
