Overview
A design competition to celebrate the 5th birthday of CEM's mascot, Power Boy. Participants are invited to design a 'Buddy' character to join the Power Boy family. The winning designs will be used in CEM's future promotional activities.
Competition Details
- Competition Period: April 17 – June 30, 2014
- Submission Deadline: May 30, 2014
- Categories: Open Category, Secondary School Category, Primary School Category
- Theme: The designed Buddy must align with the image of CEM and its mascot, Power Boy.
Prizes
- Open Category:
- Champion: MOP 7,000 + Certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 5,000 + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 3,000 + Certificate
- Secondary School Category:
- Champion: MOP 3,000 + Certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 2,000 + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 1,000 + Certificate
- Primary School Category:
- Champion: MOP 3,000 + Certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 2,000 + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 1,000 + Certificate
- My Favorite Buddy (Public Vote): iPad mini (16GB Wi-Fi)
- Voter Lucky Draw: Three voters will each win MOP 1,000.
Submission Methods
- In-person/By Mail: Send to Communications and Public Affairs Office, 12/F, CEM Building, Estrada de D. Maria II, Macau.
- Online: Email scanned hand-drawn works or digital files (under 15 MB) to [email protected].
- All entries must include a completed application form (downloadable from www.cem-macau.com).
Judging Criteria
- Professional Judging (80%): Theme expression (40%), Originality (20%), Creativity (20%), Design & artistic skill (20%).
- Public Voting (20%): Top 10 entries from each category will be posted on CEM's Facebook page for public voting from June 9–27, 2014.
Results Announcement
Winners will be announced on July 7, 2014, on the CEM website and Facebook page. Winners will be notified individually.
