Caritas Macau is launching a series of activities to raise public awareness about global poverty and hunger issues, encouraging everyone to show love and lend a helping hand.

Activity Details

• Campaign Period: April 1 to 30, 2014
• How it Works: When you order a designated set meal at the special charity price, the restaurant will donate MOP 20 to Caritas Macau to support the "One Human Family, Food For All" campaign.
• Menu & Booking: The menu is available at the restaurant or on the Caritas Macau website. Reservations require one day's advance notice.

• Lucky Draw: Each set meal purchased includes one lucky draw ticket. One lucky donor will be drawn each month to receive a small gift as a token of appreciation.

Background

International Caritas, concerned with global poverty and hunger, launched the "One Human Family, Food For All" campaign on December 10 of the previous year. It calls upon all 164 Caritas organizations worldwide to aid the poor and hungry in their respective countries and regions.

In response, Caritas Macau sincerely invites all institutions, churches, and individuals in Macau to join hands as part of one big family to support this movement. The first phase involves collaborating with various restaurants to offer charity meals. The first partner restaurant is 福龍葡國餐 (Fu Long Portuguese Restaurant).
