Event Background
The "Caring for Expectant Mothers" initiative is a charitable program launched by the Macau Women's General Association in 2014. It aims to support all expectant mothers in Macau, particularly those in early pregnancy whose physical changes may not be obvious. The program involves distributing "Expectant Mother Care Badges" to encourage wearing them as a visible sign of their special status. This helps alert others in crowded situations like taking buses, elevators, or queuing for shopping, ensuring safer outings for expectant mothers through community care.
The badge is the symbol of this initiative. As the program continues, it is envisioned to become a safety emblem worn by every expectant mother in Macau, representing the community's spirit of care and compassion. As the initiator and organizer, the Macau Women's General Association hopes to gather Macau's design talent to contribute ideas for creating this meaningful badge.
