The 12th Macao YSO Music Festival presents the "Caring for Children with Autism Concert." This is the seventh consecutive year of collaboration between the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Sociedade de Beneficência Sun Tou Tong de Macau (Macau Sun Tou Tong Charity Association) to host this large-scale charity concert at the Macao Cultural Centre. The event aims to raise social awareness for vulnerable communities, with a special focus on caring for children with autism.
Through a symphony concert, interviews with parents of SEN (Special Educational Needs) children, and performances by the Autistic Children Music Workshop, the event showcases the talents and efforts of autistic children and the strength of their families. It conveys messages of respect, care, understanding, inclusion, and love through music, aiming to open a new window in the hearts of these children and help them build a brighter future.
