About Cantonese Opera (Yueju)
Cantonese Opera, performed in the Cantonese language, boasts a history of over 300 years. Prevalent in Guangxi, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, it is the most influential multi-tune opera genre in Southern China. It was inscribed on UNESCO's 'Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity' list.
