About the Creators

This fluid and exciting multimedia circus theatre is a collaboration between Denmark's Republique Theatre and Canada's Les 7 Doigts de la Main (The 7 Fingers).

• Republique Theatre: Founded in 2009, it excels at challenging traditional theatre boundaries with contemporary perspectives and methods. Their co-creation with the British underground band Bitter Ruin, Bitter Ruin's Hamlet, delivered a stunning experience to Macao Cultural Centre audiences last year.

• Les 7 Doigts de la Main: Making its debut in Macao, this troupe is composed entirely of top acrobats from Cirque du Soleil. They blend juggling with modern dance, theatrical techniques, and stunning visual effects. Since its founding in 2002, the company has won numerous awards.

These two pioneering troupes join forces, enhanced by the fantastical imagery designed by French video artist Ange Potier, promising a visual feast.

Bosch's creative fantasies became an inspiration for contemporary Surrealism and psychedelic music. Bosch - The Fantastic Journey uses exquisite physical language and visual design to guide the audience in tasting the love, desire, sorrow, and joy within the paintings, dissecting the deep consciousness and desires of humanity, allowing the eyes to witness impossible landscapes.
