Coordinated by Professor João Figueira from the University of Coimbra, this work features contributions from several prominent journalists and a jurist, analyzing the Portuguese-language media landscape in Macau during a pivotal 15-year period post-handover.

The book also includes a transcribed roundtable discussion, recorded at Radio Macau's studios and moderated by João Figueira, featuring key figures from Macau's media outlets: Carlos Morais José, José Miguel Encarnação, Emanuel Graça, Gilberto Lopes, and Ricardo Pinto.
Furthermore, it incorporates the opinions of eleven readers of the Macau press. Journalist Adelino Gomes, who wrote the preface, highlights the work's unique examination of the preservation and refinement of Portuguese-language journalism in the Macau SAR.
This co-edition by the Rui Cunha Foundation and Livros do Oriente offers a deep dive into a significant chapter of Macau's media history.
