A beginner-level watercolor still life class suitable for novices or enthusiasts. This introductory course focuses on constructing still life compositions, understanding three-dimensional principles, color theory, painting techniques, and controlling paint and water. Beginners will learn about the relationships between space, structure, color saturation, brightness, depth, intensity, and light/dark within a picture. Through the instructor's demonstrations and explanations, students will gain a clear and easy understanding of the characteristics of watercolor, as well as the use and application of watercolor tools and materials.
