With the rapid development of Mainland China, the new generation of youth needs a deeper understanding of the Greater Bay Area's growth. This initiative aims to help young people comprehend the region's industry development and leverage their personal strengths to integrate into the Bay Area. The Sun Yat Sen Youth Association has been implementing various youth training programs, hoping young people can grasp the development opportunities and changes within the Bay Area.
According to a 2017 survey by the Macao Youth Federation, only 20–30% of young people are willing to work in Mainland China, citing reasons such as "differences in lifestyle and culture" and "lack of connections." Additionally, information regarding national policies supporting Macao youth's development in the Bay Area is often fragmented, making it difficult for young people to understand the region's potential.
To help Macao youth better understand the Greater Bay Area's situation, adaptation challenges, and the support available from the Macao government, the Sun Yat Sen Youth Association is organizing the "Bay Area Youth Enterprise Study Tour" this year. The program will take students to enterprises within the Greater Bay Area for in-depth exchanges, allowing them to experience corporate culture and development characteristics firsthand. Through visits to innovation parks, technology companies, and investment institutions in Guangzhou, the tour aims to enrich young people's perspectives, broaden their development horizons, inspire their interest in pursuing opportunities in the Greater Bay Area, and encourage them to explore their own career planning.
