Overview
To promote the importance of the Basic Law and unleash creative ideas, the Macao Basic Law Promotion Association is once again organizing the "Basic Law Promotional Video Creation Competition." The competition aims to deepen the public's understanding of the Basic Law through the production of promotional videos. All citizens are welcome to participate.
Key Details
- Submission Period: August 5 – September 30, 2016
- Eligibility: Macao residents and students studying at institutions in Macao.
- Format: Participants can enter as individuals or teams. There is no limit on the number of submissions per participant/team, but the same author cannot win multiple top three prizes with different works.
- Video Requirements: Works can be live-action or animated. The duration must not exceed 60 seconds.
- Submission Method: Participants must submit their work along with a completed entry form to the Secretariat of the Macao Basic Law Promotion Association, located at the front ground floor of Man Tak Building, No. 4-6 Rua de Inácio Baptista.
Prizes
- Champion (1): MOP 6,000 and a certificate.
- First Runner-up (1): MOP 4,000 and a certificate.
- Second Runner-up (1): MOP 3,000 and a certificate.
- Merit Award (multiple): MOP 2,000 and a certificate.
- Best Creativity Award (multiple): MOP 2,000 and a certificate.
Competition Timeline
- Shortlist Announcement: October 24, 2016 (published on the organizer's website).
- Public Voting Period: October 24 – November 4, 2016. Citizens can vote via phone or online to guess the champion video.
- Final Results Announcement: November 14, 2016.
