Basic Law PowerPoint Design Competition

To encourage the use of electronic media to promote knowledge of the Basic Law and foster a correct understanding of it, this competition is organized to deepen the public's awareness of the Basic Law. All are welcome to participate.

Competition Details

• Registration Period: From now until September 15, 2014.
• Eligibility: Macau residents or higher education students aged 16 or above.
• Entry Format: Individuals or teams (3-5 members per team) may enter. There is no limit to the number of entries per individual/team, but the same author cannot win multiple top-three awards with different works.
• Theme & Format: The content must be related to promoting the Basic Law. Participants can choose their own title. The PowerPoint presentation must be 15–20 pages in total.
• Presentation: Shortlisted individuals/teams must complete an oral presentation of approximately 8–10 minutes.
• Submission: Participants must submit their work on a CD along with the completed entry form to the Secretariat of the organizing association at the front ground floor of Veng Tak Building, No. 4-6 Rua de São Roque.

Prizes

• Champion: MOP 5,000 cash prize and a certificate.
• First Runner-up: MOP 3,000 cash prize and a certificate.
• Second Runner-up: MOP 2,000 cash prize and a certificate.
• Merit Award & Best Presentation Award: Several winners, each receiving MOP 1,000 cash prize and a certificate.

• Shortlist Announcement: September 22, 2014, on the organizer's website. Shortlisted participants will be notified individually.
• Competition Rules: Available for collection at major universities, secondary schools, youth associations, libraries, the organizer's office, or for download on the organizer's website.
