Overview
The Asia Student Arts Festival - Arts Competition 2020 is a major arts competition for students across Asia, covering music and dance disciplines. It aims to discover and nurture young artistic talent.

Judging & Advisory Panel
The competition features a distinguished panel of judges and advisors:
- Ms. Yeung Tsz Yan: Hong Kong pianist, LRSM diploma holder, recipient of numerous music education awards.
- Conductor Li Yicong: Multi-string instrumentalist, composer, founder of the Hong Kong Community Artists Orchestra.
- Mr. Alexander Sinclair Hedley: British cellist, graduate of Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
- Dr. Stoimenova: Renowned European soprano, vocal teacher, founder of Fanfei Children's Art Studio.
- Ms. Sarah Hardy: Australian ballet and jazz dancer.
- Ms. Sunshine Chan: Senior dancer, Fellow of the UK's National Association of Teachers of Dancing, Chairman of Hong Kong Tango Dance Association.
- Ms. Tong Minbo: Senior dancer, member of the UK's International Dance Teachers' Association.

- Music Group Categories: Solo, Duet, Small Group (3–10), Choir (11–30)
Performing Arts (Dance)
- Ballet, Jazz, Latin
- Chinese Dance (Folk, Classical, etc.)
- Free Dance (K-pop, Hip-hop, Street Dance)
Awards
- Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up in each age group and category receive trophies.
- Merit Award winners receive crystal medals.
- All participants receive a Certificate of Participation.
- Participants scoring 80+ receive a Certificate of Merit and a medal.
- The highest-scoring music and dance participants/teams receive the "The Award of Supernova" trophy and are invited to perform at the next Asia Student Arts Festival.
- Winning schools and instructors receive "Outstanding Guiding School" and "Excellent Instructor" certificates.

- Competition schedules were sent via email by January 3, 2020. Queries could be made via WhatsApp/WeChat from January 6–10.

- Discount: 10% off for entering two or more categories.
- Ticket Inclusion: Solo entry includes 3 tickets, Duet includes 2 tickets, Group includes 1 ticket (performers do not require a ticket).
