Overview
An anti-gambling themed cosplay competition organized by the Macau New Chinese Youth Association, aiming to use creative cosplay as a youth-friendly medium to spread the 'Say No to Gambling' message among peers and the public.
Competition Details
- Organizer: Macau New Chinese Youth Association
- Sponsor: Social Welfare Bureau of Macau
- Target Participants: All Macau youth aged 15 or above
- Objective: To promote an anti-gambling message through creative cosplay, using the language and expression of young people themselves.
Competition Phases
- Promotion & Registration Period: January 15 – February 28, 2013
- Accepting registrations and preliminary review of participant designs.
- Production Period: March 1 – March 31, 2013
- Six selected groups will each receive MOP 500 in production funding.
- Judging & Voting Period: April 1 – April 28, 2013
- All participants promote their work online. Scoring is based on the number of 'likes' received online. Awards ceremony on April 28.
Registration & Submission
- Registration Deadline: February 28, 2013, before 6:30 PM (for registration and work submission).
- Submission Method: In-person at the association's office (Shop I, G/F, Unilink Building, No. 7 Rua de João de Almeida).
- Results Announcement: April 22, 2013. Winners will be notified by phone, and the list will be published in major newspapers.
Prizes

- Champion: MOP 1000 + Trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 800 + Trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 500 + Trophy
- Three Merit Awards: MOP 300 + Trophy each
