The annual Cultural Communication Month features the 'Aesthetics Talk' series, inviting leading figures from various cultural fields to share their perspectives on 'beauty.' This year's theme is architectural aesthetics, featuring a lecture by renowned master architect Professor Wang Shu titled 'When Architecture Meets Nature: The Aesthetics of Chinese Architecture.' The lecture will be held on April 13 at 7:30 PM at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium.
Professor Wang Shu is a celebrated master architect, the 2012 Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate, and Dean of the School of Architecture at the China Academy of Art. In this lecture, he will share his personal philosophy on architecture, explore how architecture can integrate with nature, and discuss the relationship between architecture and people's lives through his own practice. He will also address how tradition and modernity can be combined to achieve a harmonious aesthetic coexistence.
