The 9th Step Out Little Theatre Book Performance Festival presents An Actor Like XX, a unique theatrical exploration centered on the actor. This production delves into the actor's craft as a text itself, examining the depth and process behind performance creation.
This festival places the actor at its core, treating the "actor" as a readable text to explore the layers and pages a performer can reveal. The presentation extends the actor's path of character development. It contains no conventional dramatic narrative, focusing instead on the actor's process of摸索, developing, and constructing "how to perform." It aims to rebuild the space for an actor's preparatory work before a project enters full "production mode."
The presentation is divided into two phases. Audiences attending both phases can observe the actors' exploration, practice, and development throughout the process.
