Poetry Category
Theme: Ode to Macao.
Eligibility
- Students enrolled in bachelor's degree or higher diploma programs at Macao higher education institutions.
- Macao residents studying bachelor's degree or higher diploma programs outside Macao.
Competition Rules
- Participation must be individual.
- Each participant may submit only one entry per category.
- Critique entries must be between 5,000 and 7,000 characters (including punctuation).
- Poetry entries must be between 10 and 50 lines.
- The first page of the submission must be the entry form, the second page the work information form. Both forms can be downloaded from the GAES website: [email protected].
- Font: Traditional or Simplified Chinese is acceptable. Must be computer-typed (specifications: A4 paper, 14-point MingLiU/14-point Song typeface, single line spacing).
- Submit a printed copy along with a CD or 3.5-inch floppy disk containing the digital file.
- References or citations must be noted using the Citation Order System at the end of the text. Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- No simultaneous submissions to other competitions. No plagiarism.
- Submitted works will not be returned.
- The organizer and award winners will jointly hold the usage rights of the winning works, which may be published in a collection.
