Purpose
To encourage Macau youth to further improve their English proficiency, provide more opportunities for young people to learn English, cultivate their interest in English learning, and offer a platform for participants to showcase their talents. The competition aims to stimulate personal potential while teaching social skills and expanding social circles.
Competition Details
- Eligibility: Macau youth aged 16 to 45 (must hold a valid Macau Resident Identity Card).
- Format: Individual or group participation (no more than 4 members per group).
- Competition Format: Preliminary round (knockout system, 1 minute 30 seconds per entry) and Final round (head-to-head system).
- Judging Criteria: Based on vocal technique, interpretation, stage presence, emotion, and English pronunciation.

Important Notes
- Contest songs must be in English.
- Participants must provide their own backing track (CD, VCD, or DVD; live concert versions are not accepted) with the application form.
- The preliminary round will be video-recorded. Highlights of finalists' performances may be posted on the organizer's website for voting.
- Participants may choose to sing a cappella or with live accompaniment (instruments must be self-provided).
- Songs with inappropriate content are strictly prohibited. The organizing committee reserves the final right to approve songs.
- Judges' decisions are final and binding.
- Performance order will be decided by the committee or lottery draw; no objections allowed. Late arrivals will be considered absent.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to amend and interpret the competition rules.
