Event Overview
To promote the positive concept of lasting marriage and foster happy, harmonious family life, the Macau Catholic Family Life Association will host the '6th Blessed 100 Marriages - Marriage Anniversary Thanksgiving' on December 4, 2016 (Sunday). The event invites long-married couples to participate as witnesses to enduring marriage, aiming to raise social awareness about the value of lasting unions.
Event Schedule & Activities
- Date: December 4, 2016 (Sunday)
- Registration Opens: October 4, 2016
- Activities:
- Makeup & Wedding Photography (Optional): Participants can join a morning session at Modern Classic Wedding Photography in Macau Fisherman's Wharf for makeup, styling, and photos.
- Marriage Anniversary Thanksgiving Ceremony: Held at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish Church.
- Open-top Car Parade: At 4:30 PM, following the ceremony, a parade through Macau in open-top cars to receive public blessings, concluding at Macau Fisherman's Wharf.
- Marriage Anniversary Dinner & Christmas Celebration: A banquet and Christmas party at 7:00 PM in the Macau Fisherman's Wharf Banquet Hall.
Participation Benefits & Fees
- Benefits for Participating Couples:
- Special offer of MOP $680 for wedding gown/tuxedo rental, makeup, and photo shooting at Modern Classic Wedding Photography Co. Ltd.
- Lucky draw and souvenirs at the dinner.
- Participation Fees:
- MOP $500 per couple married for 30 years or more.
- MOP $650 per couple married for less than 30 years.
- Note: Limited spots available. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
