Overview
The 56th Asia-Pacific Film Festival (APFF), one of the most established international film festivals, was hosted by the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific (FPA). Macau served as the host city for the event, which received full support from the Macau SAR Government. The festival was held at The Venetian Macao from December 13 to 15, 2013.
This year's festival theme was 'Movie Chutzpah!', aiming to inspire audiences to unleash their creativity, break conventional thinking, and view the world of cinema through a different lens. The theme emphasized that movies exist all around us, and ordinary events in our lives can inspire great films.
