Event Overview
The 4th edition of the Sands China Macau TrailHiker is a charity hiking event promoting the greener side of Macau. Get ready for a day of challenge and fun on the trails!
Event Details
- Event Date: Saturday, November 2, 2013
- Press Conference: Monday, July 29, 2013, 3:00 PM at The Venetian Resort Macau (limited public spots available)
- Registration Opens: Online registration starts at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
Event Categories
Participants can choose from two exciting courses:
- 10K Fun & Family Event: A great option for families and casual hikers.
- 30K Corporate Challenge: A more demanding route for teams seeking a serious test.
- The courses are expected to be similar to the previous year's routes, with possible minor adjustments due to construction.
- There will be 8 Check Points / Water Stations along the routes.
- Teams in the 30K challenge must collect a stamp ("Captain's Chop") at all 8 checkpoints to successfully finish. Failure to do so results in a DNF (Did Not Finish).
Registration & Fees
- Online Registration: Visit www.macau-trailhiker.com starting August 1.
- Offline Registration: Entry forms can be downloaded from the website or collected in person from:
- Macau Tower (Reception Counter on the ground floor)
- McSorley's restaurant at The Venetian Resort Macau
- Other locations to be announced.
- A PDF entry form will be emailed to all previous team captains on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
Team Entry Fees (per team):
- 10K Event: MOP/HKD 1,000
- 30K Event: MOP/HKD 1,500
