Contest Overview
The 4th Macao Vocational English Contest is a competition designed to enhance the English language skills of practitioners in Macao's passenger transportation service industry, supporting the city's development as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.

Eligibility & Categories
The contest is divided into two categories:
- Students Category: Open to students from secondary schools, colleges, and universities in Macao.
- General Public Category: Open to individuals working in Macao aged 18 or above (as of March 15, 2023). At least one team member must be a Macao resident.
Contestants can participate individually or in teams of up to 5 members. Each contestant/team can only enter one category.

- Pre-Contest Briefing: March 1, 2023 (19:00–19:30)
- Video Production Workshop (Mandatory): March 18, 2023 (14:30–15:30)
- Online Enrollment Deadline: March 15, 2023
- Video Submission Period: March 16 – April 12, 2023
Venue for Briefing & Workshop: Macau CPTTM Head Office (Rua de Xangai 175, Ed. ACM., 7 andar Macau)
Video Specifications
- Length: Maximum 5 minutes (including opening and end credits).
- Content: Must be based on the contest theme.
- Format: wmv, mpeg, mpeg2, mp4, mov, or m4a. File size must not exceed 1 GB.
- Subtitles: Must contain Traditional Chinese and English subtitles.
- Submission: Upload to a cloud storage system or YouTube (with a private link) and submit the link via email.
Prizes
For each category (Students & General Public):
- Gold Award: Trophy + MOP 5,000 cash prize + PEIC textbook set.
- Silver Award: Trophy + MOP 4,000 cash prize + PEIC textbook set.
- Bronze Award: Trophy + MOP 3,000 cash prize + PEIC textbook set.
- Creativity Award: Trophy + MOP 2,000 cash prize + PEIC textbook set.
All eligible contestants/team members will receive a free registration for a Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) Test (value up to MOP 1,970).
How to Enter
- Enroll Online: Complete online registration by March 15, 2023 via the official website.
- Submit Documents: Email required identification documents to [email protected].
- Submit Video: During the submission period, email the video title, a brief Chinese introduction (under 100 words), and the video link to the same email address.
Important Notes
- Participation in the Video Production Workshop is mandatory for at least one team member.
- Videos must not be primarily for company/organization promotion.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet specifications.
