Overview

The 4th Macao Festival Cultural Gift Design Competition is a creative contest aimed at inspiring participants to contemplate the significance of Macao's unique urban cultural image, its cultural heritage, and its intangible cultural heritage. The goal is to transform these reflections into unique designs that merge cultural creativity with commercial products, invigorating the cultural industry and further showcasing Macao's historical culture.

Competition Theme

Designs should be based on Macao's "Religious Customs," "Festival Events," and "Intangible Cultural Heritage."

Key Details

• Registration Period: From now until September 30, 2021, 6:00 PM.
• Competition Categories:
  • Secondary School Category: Students currently enrolled in junior or senior high school.
  • Open Category: Participants with tertiary education or above.
• Participation: Participants may enter individually or as a team. Teams must consist of 2 to 3 members.

Prizes

Both the Secondary School and Open Categories will award the following prizes:

• Champion (1)
• First Runner-up (1)
• Second Runner-up (1)
• Most Creative Award (1)
• Most Potential Award (1)
• Merit Award (3)

All awards come with a cash prize and a certificate. The total prize pool is up to MOP 6,000.
