Overview
The 3rd Macau University Business Knowledge Competition is a prestigious intercollegiate contest designed to enhance Macau university students' interest in business knowledge, explore their commercial potential, and cultivate high-quality professionals with rich business acumen. The competition encourages participants to combine theory with practice, stay informed about Macau's socio-economic development, understand the latest knowledge across various business fields, and foster team spirit.
Key Details
- Eligibility: Full-time students (including 4-year undergraduate or 3-year diploma students) from designated Macau higher education institutions.
- Team Composition: Each team consists of 1 instructor and 5 students (3 main players including 1 captain, and 2 reserves).
- Competition Format: Preliminary and final rounds featuring mandatory questions, buzzer rounds, and a team showcase (Show-Time).
- Language: Conducted in Cantonese. Questions are asked in Cantonese, but answers may be given in Cantonese or Mandarin.
- Participation Subsidy: Each participating team receives a MOP 6,000 subsidy for clothing, materials, and transportation.
Prizes
- Champion: MOP 30,000 scholarship + trophy for the team; MOP 8,000 for the instructor.
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 15,000 scholarship + trophy for the team; MOP 5,000 for the instructor.
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 7,000 scholarship + trophy for the team; MOP 3,000 for the instructor.

Background
Having been successfully held for two consecutive years, the competition has attracted enthusiastic participation from teams representing nine local higher education institutions. It has received positive social feedback and contributes to nurturing the next generation of talent for Macau's sustainable development. A special feature program documenting the competition and behind-the-scenes footage will be produced and broadcast on TDM to enhance the event's visibility and appeal.
