The Macao Youth Music Competition aims to promote the development of local classical music, providing a valuable performance platform and learning opportunities for local youth to enhance their musical literacy and performance skills.
Having been held for thirty-two editions, the competition is evolving. In response to the rising overall musical standard of Macao's youth, the 33rd edition will adopt a brand-new format, with a reorganized competition schedule and revised awards. The goal is to encourage participating students to actively develop their musical potential, use notes to illuminate their future, and gradually embark on a professional path in music.
Interested participants can first register via the online system and then submit the required documents and registration fee at the designated time at the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building at Tap Seac Square.
