What is Floating Photography?

Tired of the usual photography contests and looking for something fresh? Heard of floating photography but not sure what it is? Let the photos show you! This trend, which originated in Japan, has spread worldwide, creating a 'floating photography' craze. Photographers use their lenses to capture the moment a person jumps, strolls, or floats in the air, creating unique visual effects. This competition encourages photography enthusiasts to unleash their creativity, capture moments, and preserve that precious 'floating' instant. Using simple equipment, you can take extraordinary photos that convey the theme of lightness and a sense of innocence.

Competition Details

Organized by the Macau Dreamworks Creators Association and sponsored by the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau, the 2nd Floating Photography Competition is now open for entries. For more details, please visit www.mdca.org.mo.

Eligibility: Open to all, no age or group restrictions.

How to Enter:

1. Visit the official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/mdca.org.mo.
2. Click 'LIKE' to become a fan.
3. Send your entry (minimum 1MB) via the 'Message' function on the page, including:
   • Your Facebook username.
   • Your real name, phone number, and email.
   • The title of your work.
   • A brief description (no more than 100 words).
4. All entries will be published by the organizer in the official album on October 1st, completing the submission process.

Entry Period: From now until September 30.

Judging Period: October 1–30. Winners will be selected by public vote on Facebook. The top 3 photos with the most 'LIKES' will win the prizes.

Prizes:

• 1st Prize: Apple iPad Mini 16GB Wifi
• 2nd Prize: MOP 1,000 cash
• 3rd Prize: MOP 800 cash

Important Notes for Participants

1. Each Facebook user may only submit one entry.
2. Photos must not contain themes of pornography, violence, or other unhealthy content.
3. Photo editing and color correction software are allowed to enhance creativity.
4. The organizer reserves the right to use submitted works for promotional and display purposes.
5. Winners must collect their prizes in person within one month of the results announcement.
6. All entries must be original works; plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
7. Violation of any rules may result in disqualification without prior notice.
8. The organizer retains the final right to interpret and modify these rules.

Important: Entries from users who have not 'LIKED' the official page will not be considered. Make sure to 'LIKE' the page first to be eligible for the grand prizes!
