Competition Overview
Purpose: To enhance the interest of Macau's youth in fashion design and production, stimulate their creative potential, increase their understanding of the clothing design process, and cultivate new talent for the local fashion industry.
Content: The competition consists of three parts: draping, sewing, and creative design. Participants must use muslin on a mannequin to create a specified garment, then cut and sew a specified style of dress using a sewing machine, and finally perform creative design on the dress based on this year's theme—"Macau City Journey".
Key Details
- Competition Dates: August 9–12, 2022 (4 days, 21.5 hours total)
- Application Deadline: June 22, 2022 (until 5:00 PM)
- Eligibility (40 slots): Secondary school students aged 13–18 (as of June 22, 2022) holding a Macau Resident Identity Card. ID and student card must be presented for verification upon registration.
- Competition Qualification (30 slots): The top 30 participants with an attendance rate of 80% or above in the pre-competition training and the highest assessment scores.

- Champion (1): MOP 3,500 cash prize and trophy
- First Runner-up (1): MOP 2,500 cash prize and trophy
- Second Runner-up (1): MOP 1,500 cash prize and trophy
- Best Craftsmanship Award (1): MOP 800 cash prize and trophy
- Best Creative Design Award (1): MOP 800 cash prize and trophy
- Most Promising Newcomer Award (1): MOP 800 cash prize and trophy
- Merit Awards (3): Trophy
Registration & Fees
- Registration Fee: MOP 300 (includes: pre-competition training, venue facilities, competition materials).
- Subsidy: Participants who successfully enter and complete the competition will receive a commemorative certificate and a MOP 200 material subsidy.

Important Notes
