About the Training

A special two-day volunteer training program organized by the People's Youth Association and the Macau Association for the Visually Impaired and Their Families. The program aims to foster youth engagement and equip participants with skills to support the visually impaired community.

Program Highlights

• Step into a sensory world: Gain a deeper understanding of the daily lives and experiences of visually impaired individuals.
• Learn audio description skills: Master the technique of using language to paint pictures, making visual information accessible.

• Target Participants: Macau residents aged 16–45
• Quota: 30 participants (selection by lottery if oversubscribed)
• Admission: Free
• Registration Deadline: November 26, 2025

Training Schedule

• November 29: Guiding techniques & Introduction to audio description (includes lunch)
• November 30: Practical guiding tour & Team-building barbecue (includes lunch and bus transportation)
