Workshop Overview
To provide children with more comprehensive protection and focus on child safety education, this workshop aims to enhance parents' and children's awareness of first aid safety. It helps them master essential safety knowledge and skills while promoting parent-child relationships through shared learning time.
Course Content
- How to correctly report an emergency
- Fire escape procedures
- Simulated choking and airway obstruction management
- Burn treatment
- Wound care and bandaging
- Introduction to AED machines and CPR
Session Details
Session 1
- Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025
- Time: 10:00–12:00 & 13:00–15:00 (4 hours total)
- Target Participants: Parent-child families with children aged 6-7
Session 2
- Date: Sunday, May 25, 2025
- Time: 10:00–12:00 & 13:00–15:00 (4 hours total)
- Target Participants: Parent-child families with children aged 8-10
Practical Information
- Instructor: First Aid Instructor from the Macao Red Cross
- Location: Macao Red Cross (3rd Floor, Zhongtu Building, 255-263 Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues)
- Quota: Limited to 8 parent-child pairs per session
- Fee: MOP 50 per parent-child pair (Participating child must hold a Macao Student ID)
- Note: Children who attend and complete the course will receive a First Aid Course Certificate.
