2023 Macau Food Festival | Waste Reduction Volunteer Recruitment
Volunteers are being recruited for the 23rd Macau Food Festival to promote environmental protection and waste reduction.
Key Information
- Volunteer Recruitment: Open to university/college students, high school students, parent-child pairs, adult volunteers, groups, and individuals.
- Volunteer Certificate: An electronic volunteer hour certificate will be issued upon completion of the activity.
- Activity Dates: November 17 to December 3, 2023
- Location: Sai Van Lake Square, Macau
- Application Deadline: On or before November 1, 2023
Activity Details
Volunteers will participate in environmental protection duties during the 23rd Macau Food Festival. Main responsibilities include:
- Stationing beside resource waste sorting and recycling bins within the venue.
- Guiding the public on the correct methods of resource waste sorting and recycling.
- Assisting in statistics on the effectiveness of resource waste recycling.
- Assisting with booth promotion.
Shift Schedule
- Monday to Thursday:
- Friday to Sunday:
- Shift A: 14:50–18:20
- Shift B: 18:00–21:30
- Shift C: 21:00–24:00 (Saturday only)
Requirements
- Dress Code: Casual and comfortable clothing. Clothing with identifiable logos (e.g., school uniforms, company uniforms, or organization uniforms) is not permitted.
- Note: Must attend at least one volunteer briefing session.
