Purpose
To promote the development of micro-video teaching and dissemination, stimulate creativity, and use this medium to promote scientific knowledge and spirit to the public, deepening the promotion of science popularization work in Macao. Outstanding works will be publicly screened at suitable venues in Macao or online, and have the opportunity to be recommended for participation in major micro-video competitions or exhibition activities in Mainland China.

Eligibility & Categories
- The competition is divided into Junior Secondary (初中組) and Senior Secondary (高中組) categories. Participants can enter individually or as a team, with a maximum of 3 members per team. Participants must hold a Macao Resident Identity Card or proof of student status in Macao.
- Each participant is limited to one entry, whether as an individual or part of a team.
Timeline
- Registration Deadline: June 30, 2023
- Submission Deadline: September 8, 2023
- Awards Ceremony: Late September 2023
Registration & Submission Method
- Registration: Fill out the online registration form on the official website and print the confirmation slip.
- Submission: After completing the micro-video, upload it to YouTube (set to "Unlisted"). Then, send the video link and the signed online registration confirmation slip (scanned electronic copy) to [email protected] on or before September 8, 2023.
Judging & Results Announcement
The judging panel consists of representatives from the organizing institutions and relevant professionals. Results will be announced within September 2023.

Junior Secondary Category
- Champion: MOP 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 3,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 2,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- Five Merit Awards: MOP 1,000 + Certificate
Senior Secondary Category
- Champion: MOP 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 3,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 2,000 + Trophy + Certificate
- Five Merit Awards: MOP 1,000 + Certificate
Note: For team entries, each team member will receive a certificate. All non-winning participants will also receive a "Certificate of Participation."
Important Notes
- Entries must be original, unpublished works. Plagiarism or use of others' work is strictly prohibited.
- Participants are solely responsible for copyright, portrait rights, and reputation rights issues related to their submissions.
- Winners retain copyright but grant the organizers a royalty-free license to publicly display the work through various media.
- Participants must accept invitations from the organizers to participate in promotional activities related to the competition.
- Entries not complying with the rules will not be judged, and participants will not be individually notified.
- The organizers have the final decision and right of interpretation regarding competition results.
- The organizers reserve the right to suspend or terminate the competition and disqualify participants for misconduct.
- Personal data is handled in accordance with Macao's Personal Data Protection Law.
- All submissions are final and non-returnable.
