The world is warming, and much of Africa is bearing the brunt of the negative impacts of global warming. Frequent droughts, storms, floods, and locust plagues have damaged agriculture in Zimbabwe, South Sudan, and Somalia, worsening the food crisis. The most innocent victims are often children.
In addition to facing the threat of disease like us, hungry children in these regions are also hit hard by natural disasters, war, and poverty. They are prone to malnutrition and are often forced to drop out of school to work or become victims of child marriage to survive. They are suffering immensely and urgently need our help.
This year's "Macau Famine" campaign calls on you to participate actively and sow seeds of hope for hungry children together!
