During the social pandemic, have you thought about what values are more important than money? Life? Family? Loved ones? Relationships?
To encourage youth cultural creation, this event uses the artistic creation learning process to promote correct messages about responsible gambling, helping the public deepen their understanding and effectively prevent gambling addiction. Use this time to think about script content and messages, and showcase your creativity and ideas!
We are now organizing the following series of activities on responsible gambling:
- Responsible Gambling Scriptwriting Online Workshop
- Responsible Gambling Scriptwriting Competition
Winners of the scriptwriting competition will receive certificates and the following prizes:
- First Prize – iPad Air 3 tablet (1 unit)
- Second Prize – AirPods Pro Bluetooth earphones (1 unit)
- Merit Award (20 winners) – NIKE cooling sports towel (1 each)
- The first-place winner, in addition to the grand prize and certificate, will have their work potentially adapted into a micro-movie and broadcast on various platforms!
Event Details
Responsible Gambling Scriptwriting Online Workshop
- Online Workshop Date: March 1 (Sunday)
- Keynote Speaker:
- Wong Xuqiong – Social worker from the SKH Gambling Counselling and Healthy Family Service Centre. Will explain responsible gambling-related messages.
- Guest Speaker:
- Gu Yingyuan – Macau资深 theater practitioner, Head of the Guai Lao Shu Theatre Troupe, Creative Director of Gugumelo Art Education. Will teach how to transform thematic ideas into character actions and language in scriptwriting.
Responsible Gambling Scriptwriting Competition
- Script Content Requirements: The content should use family relationships and a realistic approach to convey the message of family responsibility behind responsible gambling. The script's storyline must have two different endings.
Competition Process
- Step 1: Participants must complete online registration via the above URL by February 29.
- Step 2: Your email will receive the script form, video URL, and electronic questionnaire on March 1. Please watch the video and complete the electronic questionnaire.
- Step 3: Fill in your personal details and script content on the script form and submit by April 1. You can then submit your work (script form) by mail, email, or in person at our centre.
