Johannes Brahms, the German composer renowned for his refined and meticulous style, carried the profound and robust classical tradition into the Romantic era. As the grand finale of the Macao Orchestra's 2020-21 season, the orchestra specially invites the young pianist Zhang Haochen to perform in Macao. A gold medalist of the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, he will present Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2 under the baton of Music Director Lü Jia, showcasing extraordinary pianistic skill. In the same concert, the orchestra will also perform Brahms' Symphony No. 4. These two monumental works will not only perfectly conclude the Macao Orchestra's current season but also serve as a preview for the upcoming Brahms-themed season. With such magnificent music, how can you miss it?
