Event Overview

Two major free New Year's Eve celebrations will be held simultaneously on December 31, 2019, to welcome 2020. The festivities will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display over the sea opposite the Macau Tower at midnight.

Event Details

2019 Macau New Year's Eve Countdown Concert

• Date & Time: December 31, 2019, 22:00–00:10
• Location: Sai Van Lake Square, Macau Peninsula
• Featured Performers:
  • Mirror (Hong Kong's popular male pop group)
  • Siufay (Macau's renowned singer)
  • Other guest performers
• Highlights: The concert will feature energetic performances, with Mirror as the grand finale act. At the stroke of midnight, performers and the audience will count down together, accompanied by the fireworks display.

2019 Taipa New Year's Eve Party

• Date & Time: December 31, 2019, 21:30 onwards
• Location: Taipa Houses-Museum (龍環葡韻), Taipa
• Featured Performers:
  • Linda Wong (Hong Kong singer, grand finale guest)
  • Local performers: Zhao Chonghao, Li Xiaohui, Rebel Rabbit, The Bridge (jazz band)
  • Cultural performances: Magician Van, Indian dance by Victor Kumar & Bollywood Dreams Group, Clown Tru & Tru, Myanmar-Chinese Mutual Aid Association Dance Troupe, Filipino dance group Bisdak Association of Macau
• Additional Activities (20:30–23:30): Seven international-themed stalls showcasing the talents, games, and authentic cuisine of expatriate and ethnic communities from Australia, South Korea, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Live Broadcast & Viewing Points

• Live Broadcast: TDM will broadcast the events live and provide replays on its "Macau Variety" channel, website, and mobile app.
• Public Viewing Areas: Large screens will be set up at Senado Square and Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre for the public to watch the live broadcast.
