Celebrate the arrival of 2019 at the "2018 Taipa New Year's Eve Countdown Party," a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community held at the Taipa Houses-Museum (龍環葡韻). This family-friendly event is part of the city's dual New Year's Eve festivities, running alongside a concert at Sai Van Lake Square on the Macau Peninsula.

The evening's entertainment features a diverse lineup of local and international talent:
- Headline Act: Hong Kong singer-songwriter Denise Wong (黃凱芹) performing classic hits.
- Local Performers: Singers Lai Zhenzhen (賴珍珍), Leong Kin Pong (梁健邦), and band EXPERIENCE.

- Clown performances by Tru & Tru
- Dance by the Indonesian Returned Overseas Chinese Culture and Arts Association

Cultural Village & Food Stalls
From 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM, explore a multicultural village with eight themed stalls representing:
- Australia, Korea, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- Enjoy traditional games, cultural displays, and authentic local delicacies.
Citywide Celebrations
- Macau Peninsula Countdown Concert: Held simultaneously at Sai Van Lake Square from 10:00 PM to 12:10 AM, featuring Hong Kong rap duo FAMA, singer Phil Lam (林奕匡), and local artists.
- Fireworks Display: At the stroke of midnight, a spectacular fireworks show will light up the sky over the sea opposite the Macau Tower.
- Live Broadcast & Public Viewing: The events will be broadcast live on TDM channels. Large screens will also be set up at Largo do Senado and Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre for the public to join the festivities.
Important Notes
- Prohibited Items at Sai Van Lake Square: Alcoholic beverages, aerosol cans, balloons, glass bottles, and large luggage are strictly prohibited.
- Traffic Arrangements: Various road closures and traffic control measures will be in effect on the event night. Details will be announced on December 30.
