Program Overview
A volunteer training program organized by the Macao Community Youth Volunteer Development Association, sponsored by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau. This program aims to train young volunteers in basic hairdressing skills, enabling them to serve the community with this practical skill.
Key Details
- Target Participants: Macao youth aged 16 to 45 (15 spots available)
- Class Dates: November 17 to December 16, 2018 (24 hours total, suspended on December 8-9)
- Class Schedule: Saturdays 18:00–20:00 & Sundays 9:30–13:30
- Internship Period: During 2019
- Class Location: To be confirmed
- Registration Period: From now until November 10, 2018
Fees & Inclusions
- Members: MOP 350
- Non-members: MOP 600 (membership can be applied for immediately)
- Deposit: MOP 100 (refundable if attendance rate reaches 75%)
- Inclusions: A hairdressing mannequin head and a set of professional haircutting tools are provided.
- Certificate: A course certificate will be awarded upon meeting the attendance requirement.
Course Content
- Learning Modules: Basic haircutting techniques, layered trimming for long and short hair, evening hairstyle design.
- Internship Service: Arrangements will be made for students to provide volunteer haircutting services at various social service organizations.
