Macau's largest architectural event – Open House Macau – will hold its inaugural Asian event on November 10-11. Led by experts and volunteers, this international event is free for all to participate, offering an excellent opportunity to uncover Macau's endless architectural history!
Open House Macau is a community event that breaks the norm, giving us a chance to talk about, think about, and celebrate the city of Macau. Through opening these buildings to the public for two days, the designs offer citizens and tourists the most personal experience.
Open House is a simple yet powerful concept: showcasing different buildings for the public to experience, completely free of charge. Open House invites everyone to explore and discuss the environmental value of these meticulously designed buildings. The concept was founded in London in 1992 and is now active in over 40 cities and regions across four continents, attracting over 750,000 visitors annually!
This is a unique chance to gain intimate access to Macau's architectural heritage, learn from experts, and engage with the community in celebrating the city's built environment.
